An artist and poet, Kate Matthews, uses gouache, egg tempura, and poetry to "illuminate blind spots and forgotten truths" to create unforgettable works of art.

As someone who creates custom content for her clients, Kate knew she needed help creating branding photos for her business. During a few phone calls, we discussed her work, how branding photography could benefit her, wardrobe options, and what she needed to do to prepare for the photo session.

In her home, we staged and shot branding images and portraits to give her clients a behind-the-scenes look at her daily routines. Much of the photoshoot took place around her spacious kitchen island to provide an open-book glimpse of the artist's workspace and her personal style.
