Personal Branding

Personal branding is all about establishing yourself as an expert in your field and communicating your unique value proposition by showcasing your style, values, personality, and experience. It can help you stand out from the competition, attract more clients, and establish yourself as a trusted and respected figure in the industry.

Small businesses can also benefit from this type of branding because it helps increase credibility, attract top talent, and grow your business. When customers see you as a thought leader in your industry, they are more likely to trust your business and be loyal to it.

ISP Studios and I have crossed paths on many projects, so it was an honor when they called needing branding images.

As a turn-key media production company, ISP needed images that showed their crew in their daily rolls, so we collaborated on a series of photos that provided a behind-the-scenes look of their team and environmental portraits that represented the high-quality work they have received many awards for.

FAQ

What is Personal Branding?

Personal branding is all about establishing yourself as an expert in your field and communicating your unique value proposition by showcasing your style, values, personality, and experience. It can help you stand out from the competition, attract more clients, and establish yourself as a trusted and respected figure in the industry.

Small businesses can also benefit from this type of branding because it helps increase credibility, attract top talent, and grow your business. When customers see you as a thought leader in your industry, they are more likely to trust your business and be loyal to it.

How Do I Prepare?

Before your first photo session, we will schedule a face-to-face meeting to get to know and understand each other a little better. This time is critical because it will allow us to discuss the values and look of your brand and the message you want your images to convey.

What should I wear?

Select clothing and accessories that align with your profession, personality, and personal brand. Choose colors, patterns, and textures that represent you and align with your brand.

Preparing yourself for the photoshoot.

Because a branding photoshoot is about you and your style, prepare yourself and your outfit in ways that people frequently see you. For a professional look, women may get their hair and makeup done by a professional. Men may want to head to a barber for a trim. Just remember, it's not about being formal. It's about being authentic. Get a good night's sleep, get your morning water or caffeine fix, and prepare a list playlist of your favorite tunes to play during the photoshoot.

Where should the photoshoot happen?

The location is a critical part of the photoshoot because it will serve as a background and prop. Whether it is an office, a ranch, or a coffee shop where you hold meetings, the location adds to the credibility of your image and provides a behind-the-scenes look at your work.
